I am inspired by beautiful art and stories of survivors. I love nature, acts of kindness and illustrating fun stories that also promote good.

Besides illustrating children’s picture books I also enjoy oil painting – mostly portraits. My grandchildren are the subjects and recipients of most of my paintings. I also do commission work.

Early in my career I worked as a freelance graphic designer and continue to do occasional graphic design work.

Every morning before starting to work in my studio I can be found in my garden – Trying to help things grow in this Southern Utah desert.

It is my family that brings me the greatest joy and fulfillment – now adding great-grandchildren to the fold.
